Ingredients
1 - 6 oz package of crab meat, drained
24 ounce jar of traditional spaghetti sauce
1 ½ tbl of olive oil
2 tablespoons of chopped parseley
1/3 cup of chopped onions (yellow or red)
1 ½ tbls of green bell pepper, finely chopped (optional)
1 tbl chopped or minced garlic
1 tsp dried oregano leaves
Directions
Preheat a large stainless saucepan over medium heat. Add oil. When oil begins to sizzle, add onions, green pepper and garlic. Lower heat and saute until onions are translucent and garlic is lightly browned.
Add spaghetti sauce, parseley and oregano. Cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes. Stir in crab meat. Cover and simmer for an additional 15 minutes. Remove from heat and serve.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with pasta and grated parmesan cheese. Add in extra calories.
