Ingredients
1/2 of a foot long, Italian hotdog bun (6”). You can substitute a whole wheat bun.
2 Hebrew National 97% Fat Free hotdogs
16 Medium to large OreIda Shoestring French Fries
Cooking spray
5 onion slices
Green or yellow bell pepper slices (optional)
1 tbl mustard
2 tbl of ketchup
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spray the bottom of an aluminum pan with a blast of cooking spray. Place sliced onions (and peppers) in pan and spray the top of the onions with a short blast. Add the hot dog and bake for 10 to 20.
If onions or peppers brown before hotdog, remove them and continue cooking hotdog until lightly roasted on both sides.
When the hotdog is done remove from oven and lower oven temperature to 400 degrees. In a separate aluminum pan, bake fries for 10 to 12 minutes, until desired crispness.
Split the bun on top. Spread mustard on the bottom of the bun. Place the hotdog in the bun, then the onions and peppers. Place the fries on top. Add ketchup on top of fries.
