Lamb Smothered in Mushrooms and Gravy

Ingredients
12 oz boneless leg of lamb top, sliced or cubed (3 oz oer serving)
4 tbls of flour
2 tbls of olive oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1 ½ cup of sliced mushrooms
Table salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
tsp garlic powder
2 cups of hot water
Directions
Preheat large stainless skillet over medium heat. Add oil. Add lamb and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder in pan. Brown on all sides. Remove from skillet. Add onions and mushrooms. Brown vegetables. Sprinkle flour over vegetables and mix well.
Lower heat and slowly add water alternately adding water while stirring in with the flour and vegetables. Add 1 ½ cups of water. Add the rest of the water as needed.
Add salt and pepper to the gravy. Lower heat to a simmer and cover tightly. Simmer on low for 30 minutes. Remove from heat when done.
