Green Beans and Potatoes with Bacon

Portion - 1 potato (5.25 oz), 1/2 cup of green beans
Ingredients2 medium potatoes (5.25 oz) quartered
1 cup of fresh green beans
1/2 slice of beef bacon (quartered)
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
dash of crushed red peppers (optional)
3 cups of fresh water
DirectionsBring water to a boil over medium heat. Add beef bacon. Add potatoes and boil for ten minutes. Add green beans, salt and pepper. Boil with potatoes for an additional 15 minutes or until both vegetables are tender.
