1/5 box linguini, 2 oz meat, 1/4 cup sauce
Serves 4 (3 oz. ground beef per serving)
Ingredients
12 oz 90% (or more) lean ground beef
20 oz Traditional spaghetti sauce
1 tsp dried basil leaves
1 tsp dried parseley flakes
1 tbl minced or chopped garlic (optional
1/2 small sliced onion (red or yellow)
1 thin slice of finely diced green pepper (optional)
1 tsp salt (optional)
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp oregano (optional)
Directions
Preheat 8” pan on low heat for five minutes. Add ground beef and onion slices and optional green pepper to pan. Increase to medium heat. Add seasonings and turn meat as it browns. Once meat is browned, add spaghetti sauce.
Cover and simmer on low for 15 minutes.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with 1/6 box linguini or spaghetti. Add in additional calories
