Cabbage with Pork Bacon

Ingredients
3 tbls water
¼ cabbage, (about 9 to 12 ounces) sliced, lengthwise, then crosswise. Remove core, then slice into 1/2 inch wedges
1 slice of pork bacon
1/4 tsp crushed red peppers
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Directions
Over medium heat, in an 8 to ten inch skillet, add 3 tbls of water. Let water begin to simmer, then add one slice of bacon. Lower heat to very, very low, and add cabbage, salt ground black pepper and crushed red peppers.
Simmer on very very low for about 20 to 25 minutes, until the cabbage is tender but not stiff or soggy.
