Shrimp, Scallops and Linguini

7 large shrimp, 5 scallops

Ingredients
14 large shrimp (26-30 count)
10 small scallops (optional)
½ tbl olive oil
1 scallion, diced
½ tsp of minced or chopped garlic
1 tsp parseley
4 oz of dry linguini (revised 12/2010)
Directions
Add linguini to a pot of rapidly boiling water. Boil for 9 minutes. Drain in colander. Rinse.
Preheat small skillet over medium heat. Add oil. Heat for 1 minute. Add scallions and garlic. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add scallops. Cook for two minutes.
Add shrimp and cook on both sides for a total of 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add fully drained linguini to skillet with shrimp and scallops. Toss lightly. Sprinkle parseley on top.
