10 asparagus spears
salt to taste (optional)
ground black pepper to taste (optional)
Directions
Clean asparagus and cut or snap off ends. Bring a full saucepan of water to a rapid boil. Drop in asparagus and boil for about three minutes until the stems are fork tender but not soggy.
Season asparagus with salt and pepper.
Serving Suggestions
