Green Beans, Fresh with Bacon

Recipe serves four

Ingredients

4 cups of green beans (about 15 oz)

2 thick slices of pork or beef bacon

shake of crushed red peppers to taste

salt to taste

pepper to taste

water, enough to cover all contents

Directions

Bring bacon to a boil. Add crushed red pepper, salt and pepper. Add green beans. Boil for about 15 minutes. Green beans are done when they are tender but still firm.
