Recipe serves four

Ingredients

6 oz package of lump crabmeat

2 medium slices of Italian bread, toasted then crumpled into bread crumbs

7 tbls of Hellmann’s Light Mayonnaise

1 package of Old Bay crab cake seasoning mix

½ cup of plain prepared bread crumbs

2 tbl finely minced onions

2 tbls finely minced celery

1 tbl finely minced green pepper (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an aluminum pan with cooking spray and preheat in oven for five minutes.

Mix crabmeat, onions, celery, optional green peppers, and 3 tbls of crab cake seasoning mix, crumpled bread crumbs and mayonnaise in a medium bowl.

Pour the plain bread crumbs into a small bowl. Form crab cake mixture into four cakes. Thoroughly coat cakes on both sides with prepared bread crumbs then shake off excess bread crumbs.

Bake in oven for 20 minutes on each side.
